A Brief Bio

Meghan in a nutshell

Meghan Reha (she/her) is an engineer, renewable energy expert, and a consultant with more than 15 years experience advising renewable energy developers, owners, operators, and financiers on technical risks associated with utility scale wind and solar projects. Her dedication to sustainability and community engagement underscores her commitment to a more resilient future.

Facing the harm caused by the “unlimited growth” mentality of her industry, Meghan seeks to equip and empower communities with practical steps to support their own survival and resilience in the ongoing climate crisis, and to shape the change of these difficult moments toward a future that values ALL life. Meghan’s work is motivated by her deep human desire for right relationship with the Earth and all Her inhabitants.

Meghan believes Indigenous Justice is a core tenant of a livable future, and organizes with the Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery.

Meghan’s is also a cat lady, a voracious reader , and and old house nerd. Her renovation of her home in a historic red-line neighborhood of Bloomington, Illinois reflects her deep engagement with community resilience through sustainability, and she tells this story in her TEDx Talk “Home for the (Climate) Crisis.
